PLOT terms of use
What you agree to by using PLOT, what PLOT is and is not, and what PLOT does not promise.
DraftThese terms of use are a draft written by PLOT’s engineers and not yet reviewed or signed by counsel. They describe what the software does today and mark, in dashed boxes, every place a legal answer goes. Read them as a description of the product, not as advice and not as a statement about PLOT’s legal status anywhere. The dashed boxes and this notice come off when counsel signs.
1. Who you are dealing with
PLOT is operated by PLOT (soft open on enterplot.com) [counsel: legal name, legal form, registered address]. Contact and abuse reports: /report (no account needed). [counsel: monitored mailbox]
PLOT is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any Robinhood entity. “Robinhood Chain” names the network PLOT’s contracts are built for; nothing on PLOT is offered, endorsed or operated by Robinhood.
2. What PLOT is
PLOT is a market around things people are trying to make happen. A person states an attempt with a deadline and proof conditions; a token and a market open with it; every trade pays a 1.5% levy, part of which builds that PLOT’s PAYOFF; when the attempt ends, 80% of the PAYOFF is distributed to holders by how long and how much they held, and 20% goes to the creator: to the creator if the attempt is completed, and to THE PLOT POT on any other ending. Proof closes the attempt. The PLOT and its token continue. Full mechanics, with the rates read from the same constants the code uses: How it works.
PLOT is not a prediction market. A token’s price is what people will pay to be in that attempt while it happens; it is not a probability and not a forecast. Nothing on PLOT is investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. The holders’ 80% of THE PAYOFF pays by time held, not by whether the attempt lands. A holder is paid the same either way.
3. Risk
Don’t put in money you’re not prepared to lose. Tokens can lose their entire value. The holders' 80% of THE PAYOFF is paid by time held, not by whether the attempt lands. Completing a Plot does not make its token worth more. Nothing on PLOT is investment advice, and PLOT is not a prediction market.
PLOT’s contracts have not been audited and PLOT makes no claim that they are secure. [counsel: prescribed risk wording for the applicable regime, if any]
On this host trades settle on chain in real money, which can be lost.
4. Who may trade or start a PLOT
Before a first trade or PLOT, each account affirms that the person is 18 or over, declares the country they live in, and accepts the risk notice. The affirmation is stored against the account with its time (version 2026-08-19.1) and is asked again if the words change. It is a self-declaration: PLOT does not verify identity, age or residence.
PLOT may refuse trading and starting PLOTs, never viewing, from countries it names, by the country a fronting network asserted for your connection and by the country you declared. Circumventing that refusal (for example by misdeclaring where you live or by routing your connection to appear elsewhere) is a breach of these terms. [counsel: the list, and the wording of the restriction]
Today this host runs PLOT_GEO_MODE=block for KP, IR, SY, CU, RU, BY, US.
5. What you publish
Titles, updates, proof, images and objections are written by the people involved, not by PLOT, and are public the moment they are posted, there is no review before publication. You are responsible for what you publish and you confirm you have the right to publish it. PLOT may hide content or suspend an account after a report (/report); hidden content is withdrawn from publication, not deleted: the ledger, the audit trail and a PLOT’s record are append-only. [counsel: licence you grant PLOT; repeat-infringer policy; counter-notice path]
A PLOT whose objective is a trading or investment return (“turn $X into $Y”) is not accepted as an attempt; money objectives that are revenue, sales or earnings are. PLOT may take such a PLOT down on report. [counsel: confirm or revise (FD-16)]
6. If you start a PLOT
You choose the deadline and what counts as done before anyone can trade. A stake, if you put one up, is returned on delivery and forfeited to THE PLOT POT on failure. Your share of the levy accrues while the PLOT runs and unlocks only when it completes; on failure it is forfeited to THE PLOT POT. A holder with standing may object to your proof inside the window; a named operator may rule on a dispute. PLOT may record the outcome permanently on your profile.
7. What PLOT does not promise
PLOT is provided as it is. PLOT does not promise that any PLOT completes, that any token keeps value, that any PAYOFF is of any size, that the site is available, or that the contracts are free of defects. PLOT is not a party to any attempt and does not guarantee anyone’s performance. [counsel: warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability, to the extent permitted]
8. Governing law and disputes
[counsel: governing law] [counsel: forum / dispute resolution] [counsel: complaints handling]
9. Changes
When these terms change, this date changes and, where the change touches what you affirmed, the attestation version changes and you are asked again before your next trade or PLOT. Draft dated 2026-08-19. Privacy: /privacy.
