Report something on PLOT

Anyone can publish a Plot here, and everything they publish (the words, the images, the evidence) is theirs, not ours. If something on this site is unlawful, dangerous, stolen or aimed at a person, this form is how you tell an operator. You do not need an account, and you do not need to say who you are.

A report is not a takedown. It reaches a moderator, who reads it and decides. Nothing is hidden automatically and no number of reports hides anything, that would hand anyone with a crowd the power to remove someone else’s Plot.

Nothing is ever deleted. When a moderator withdraws something it leaves every public page here, but the record stays in the database: that is deliberate, because a takedown exists partly to preserve the evidence. Copies already fetched elsewhere, including link previews held by other services, are outside anything PLOT can reach.

Nothing here sends mail. There is no automatic acknowledgement and no status page for a report. If someone writes back, it is a person doing it by hand.

If this is an emergency, or someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. This form reaches a small team, not a rota.

A live stream is part of its Plot. PLOT can withdraw the Plot and the embed with it; it cannot take down the stream itself, which is hosted elsewhere.

Optional, and it is the only thing about you this form records. It is shown to moderators and to nobody else, it never appears in a web address, and it is used for one thing only: so a person can come back to you about this report. Nothing here sends mail, so leaving it does not trigger a reply.

Paste the address of what you are reporting.

Formal correspondence needs a named operator and a registered address, and PLOT has not published either yet - /how-it-works says so plainly and names exactly what is missing. This form is a working channel in the meantime, not a substitute for one.
