How much trading would THICKEN fees need? A worked example
For a new-generation THICKEN position, principal is nonrefundable. Fee rewards are separate and can be zero.
At the current 0.15% trading slice, $100 of fee rewards would require approximately $66,667 of later eligible trading volume if one contributor received the entire slice.
This example assumes an unchanged $PLOT price, no competing contributor share and no gas cost. Rewards are paid in $PLOT, not dollars. Timing, competing positions, rounding, price changes and actual eligible volume affect the result. This is not a forecast or a promise to recover principal.
Read the contribution and claim rulesWhich features are available right now?
Availability tells apart what is available now, what needs your wallet or account first, what is unavailable right now, what this host has configured but checks only when you act, what is approved but not deployed here, and what can only be recovered. A configured feature is not a completed transaction. Each market, question and claim keeps its own terms.
See what is availableWhat do I get when I THICKEN?
For a new PLOT market, a contribution worth at least $100 puts nonrefundable principal into the Attempt’s PAYOFF and opens a nontransferable Thickener Position. Its fixed credited value and age share later trading fees from the existing 0.15% slice, paid in $PLOT. Returns may be zero, and a sole qualifying contributor can earn the whole future slice. Top-ups do not earn earlier fees. Claim rewards after the Attempt ends within 180 days plus claim-blocking pauses. Existing native contributions keep their original terms; new generation availability depends on completed deployment and activation checks.
Read the THICKEN rulesWhat is a PLOT?
A PLOT is a story with a token market. Each attempt has a goal, deadline and proof requirement. Read the attempt before trading; completing it does not guarantee that its token gains value.
The attempt and its tokenHow do I launch a PLOT?
Choose Create, then Launch a PLOT. Describe what you will do, add an image, set the deadline and proof, and review the costs. Your wallet signs the required transactions. A saved draft or accepted challenge does not open a token market.
Launch a PLOTWhat happens when I challenge someone?
You send an invitation with a goal, proof and timing. The recipient can accept, suggest changes or decline. A public invitation can have one acceptor. Acceptance preserves the agreed terms and leads into normal launch; it does not create a token or a funded prize.
Explore challengesHow do buying and selling work?
Choose a PLOT in Trade, enter the amount and review a current quote, fees, price impact and minimum received. A quote is not a completed trade. After signing, keep the receipt until it is confirmed. Wallet shows your holdings and history.
Choose a marketThe attempt ended. Can I still sell?
Attempt outcome and token availability are different. A sell-only market accepts sells while buying is closed. A next chapter is not available for every market: existing LAND and SHIP native markets cannot open new chapters. A hold or unavailable market is shown separately. There is no promise that every holding can be sold for its displayed estimate.
Find sell-only marketsWhat is a next chapter?
A new attempt on the same PLOT and token after the current attempt has settled. New PLOT markets support this with fresh terms and a PLOT stake of at least $25 and at least 50% of the prior raw PLOT stake. Existing LAND and SHIP native markets retain sells and claims, but cannot open new chapters under the new currency rules. Holders and token history stay with the token. Same PLOT. Same token. New attempt.
Your launched PLOTsDo predictions use $PLOT or play credits?
Each question states its settlement asset. New PLOT prediction books charge no prediction fee and cap the total staked across both sides at the creator’s posted stake. They are separate from buying a story’s ticker. A NoRuling ending or early concession refunds prediction stakes; ordinary deadline failure resolves NO. Where the $PLOT pool is unavailable, the optional play-credit book is labelled explicitly. Play credits cannot be withdrawn, transferred or converted into $PLOT.
See prediction availabilityWhat does Twist burn, and what do I receive?
Twist, in full PLOT TWIST, is the eligible NFT burn path into a Plotter. Check the eligible collection, exact NFT, cost and output before approving or signing. Burning is irreversible. The Twist page states whether the crossing and its contracts are ready; a closed crossing cannot mint a Plotter.
Check Twist eligibilityWhat is a Plotter?
A Plotter is an NFT from a collection capped at 2,222, born as one pixel on a 32 by 32 canvas. Earned progression is separate from purchased visual size. Ownership, upgrades and reward eligibility appear in My Plotters; an unsent canvas draft is not an on-chain upgrade.
My PlottersIs the Payoff Pot the same as an attempt’s PAYOFF?
No. The Payoff Pot is for Plotter-holder rewards. An attempt’s PAYOFF belongs to its existing creator and token-holder settlement. The protocol campaign pot is a third, separate account. An allocation or estimated reward is not a claimable balance.
See Plotter rewardsWhy are spendable, estimated and claimable amounts separate?
Spendable assets are already in your wallet. Holdings estimates can change with prices and liquidity. Claimable rewards still need a confirmed claim. Pending or locked amounts cannot be spent. Missing prices or incomplete cost history are shown as unknown, never zero.
Open WalletDo I need X and a wallet to use PLOT?
You can browse without signing in. Open Connect to see the sign-in options currently available. Trading, launching and claiming need the appropriate wallet signature; X alone cannot authorise them. Manage wallet and X connections in Account. Public balance reads use PLOT’s configured network, independently of your browser wallet’s selected network.
Connect to PLOTHow do I follow a story or find a challenge again?
Follow a PLOT or creator, or opt into a challenge’s activity. Your in-app notifications link back to the exact object. Manage notification preferences in Wallet and profile connections in Account. Sharing a PLOT can use your existing referral link where the referral program is available.
Your notificationsWhere can I see the fees and reward rules?
Your quote and locked attempt terms show the fees for the action you are taking. The money explanation sets out the routes into and out of each pot. A token price is not a probability, and participation does not guarantee a profit.
Read fees and money routesHow do I dispute a result or report abuse?
Use Dispute a result on the PLOT. New PLOT Attempts accept public wallet-signed evidence objections during the 24-hour proof window with no bond. Success or failure needs two distinct reviewers. If no ruling arrives within the following 14 days, NoRuling returns the creator stake and refunds predictions, while holder PAYOFF remains 80%. Existing native Attempts keep their original objection rules. That settlement objection is separate from a social Challenge invitation. Use Report something for abuse or other content concerns.
